In the Celtic Calendar, we find ourselves in a new year and the six weeks of Samhain. As the precursor to Halloween, Samhain celebrates this time as being when the veil is the thinnest between the earthly realm and that of the Otherworld. It also acknowledges the diminishing light from the sun and the call to go inward. Here we reflect on the bounty of the harvest, as well as honor the connection to our ancestors. Below is a guided mediation to call on the support, love and wisdom of all ancestors—from those that walked the same land as we do now, our DNA and familial lineages and our spiritual guides and teachers.
